"Putting together a project as massive as World of Warcraft is akin to assembling a jigsaw puzzle where you only have half the pieces at any one time and the pieces you do have keep changing shape while you try to fit them together. The person at Blizzard charged with the thankless task of riding herd on dozens of designers, producers, programmers, marketers, and PR people was Shane Dabiri. Throughout the development process Shane was a constant presence, attempting to facilitate communication between people working on different aspects of the game in order to insure that what eventually got into the box bore at least some superficial resemblance to the game in the design document. GameSpy was lucky enough to grab a few minutes of Shane's time during what must be the most insane week of his life and ask him 10 questions about the process of bringing World of Warcraft to life.
